I was a little worried about our stay having read some reviews but we really enjoyed our stay. It’s relatively basic (as expected) but the log cabin room for 4 was clean, beds quite comfy and we didn’t have any problems with mosquitoes as someone else did. The fridge (recently installed) in the room was a bonus so we were able to cater for our own breakfasts. We ate at the restaurant in the evenings. Not everything was available every night but all food we had was very nice and the waiting and reception staff were friendly. I would note that the evening food was very reasonably priced but the breakfast looked expensive in comparison. It was great to be staying in the middle of a beautiful park so close to the amazing waterfalls.

This was a last minute trip I had just come out of the hospital. I had an infection that went into my arm, my blood and my skin and I almost lost my arm. When the staff heard about this, they upgraded my room to a larger unit, ground floor. It was a shocking surprise and absolutely amazing. This place is a diamond in the rough and highly I mean highly underrated ignore all the negative comments or some of the previous negative or lousy reviews. Those people clearly had a mindset that they wanted to stay in a Las Vegas type hotel which you do not find in the middle of nowhere.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lodge and I cannot speak highly enough of the owner and staff. The owner was incredibly kind and friendly, going out of their way to help us when we were lost in Wells Gray Park with no signal. They not only pointed us in the right direction but also offered us a free campsite to stay overnight. The food at the lodge was outstanding, particularly the burger which was cooked to perfection. The onion soup was also a standout, bringing back memories of Paris. The overall dining experience was top-notch. To top it off, the owner provided us with a detailed road trip itinerary to ensure that we made the most of our time in the area. This level of care and attention to detail truly made our stay memorable. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming place to stay with exceptional service and delicious food. Thank you to the owner and staff for a fantastic experience.

We visited Wells gray provincial park couple of years back and stayed in a log cabin at this Lodge. It was a great experience, very peaceful location and great customer service. Restaurant ambiance is great and our kids played chess there after the breakfast and created good memories. Strongly recommend this place.

Last chance for free WiFi and actual flush toilets before you go into the park. Great place to camp due to its close proximity to the waterfalls. The free hot showers are a bonus. So glad we stopped here for dinner and decided to stay.

I didn't stay there but I driving on my way back to Clearwater and we realised that all the restaurants will be closed by the time we reach clearwater. We took a brief stop at the lodge just to enquire if they have some food. They told that they just closed the kitchen but they'll be happy to call back the chef to prepare dinner for us. It was an amazing experience, we felt like everything was set up just for us. I'll visit again for sure, I love the hospitality and the location..
